Just finished my first Ursula K. Le Guin novel, Rocannon’s World. A great read, filled with beautiful cinematic descriptions and driving action (after a memorable but a little slow prologue).

Really enjoyed a Division Bell variation with 3/4 oz Contratto Aperitif (instead of Aperol, has more orange notes and is sweeter), 3/4 oz lime juice, 1/2 oz Luxardo maraschino liqueur and 1 oz Del Maugey Vida mezcal.

Fantastic fish dinner last night at Taverna Fetivi in Split. We were so happy to just trust the chef to pick a variety of fish–we’re not very experienced eating whole fish but it was totally worth the adventure.
